Just because we don't meet doesn't mean we can't rock.

I've been working on my list for our meeting and I'm pretty stumped. Too many bands and songs to choose from. Couldn't we of made it the top 1000 bands/songs/albums of all time? Anyway, looking forward to the meeting. Music has a right to Children.

I'm telling you -- it's all about Honourable Mentions. Have, like, 20. Okay, maybe just one or two.

The trouble I'm having is that I keep wanting to put on people like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, but they're on every 28-year-old's list (except, probably, Matt's -- the snob!). So do I ignore those as gimmies, or do I count them as influences? They were totally a part of my music journey, but there were other lesser-known artists who were there too; just on a slightly smaller scale.

Or maybe I just use those guys as Honourable Mentions and focus more on people everyone knows less. I guess we'll see on Friday.

Ya dude--should be interesting. I wonder what Alan will have on his!

I've been looking at this from the point of view of albums that have truely mattered in my life, almost like I was putting together a soundtrack for my life story or something.
There are 100's of albums that I love and own but only a select few that have ever been real corner stones. I don't think it matters that the album might be generic or a cliche, all that matters is that is meant something to you.
My list will probably have some usual suspects on there for sure.
